And the 10th AnnualWalt Whitman Marathon Reading this Sunday, from 3 pm to 5 pm, at Brooklyn Bridge Park, near the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge at Pier 1. This is a reading of "Song of Myself", by volunteer readers, with Manhattan as a backdrop. June 1st is Walt Whitman's birthday, and he is one of the famous former inhabitants of Brooklyn.
